The Invisibles by Grant Morrison

There was a long period in my life where I had given up on the comic book format yet still garnered a strong love for speculative/ultra-imaginative literature. A friend of mine, James, was working at Whole Foods as a cashier and James quickly became someone I knew I could talk to about great reading. He was shocked at my almost comic book illiterate lifestyle and quickly told me to read anything I can get my hands on by either Alan Moore or Grant Morrison. I will speak about Mr Moore in some other post but this one is about my first encounter with Mr Morrison's unique and untouchable series, The Invisibles. I proceeded to order the first volume published by DC's Vertigo and having been a little about it by James, knew that this was going to be up in my alley way, all the way!

There are hints and huge chunks of everything I love about life in this. Esoteric occult thinking, science fiction, beautiful artwork, fantasy. These books will sing to you they are so alive! I will not go into a synopsis but my main point is that after having devoured all of the volumes these wonderful BOOKS are compiled into, I was a firm believer again in the comic book medium and will remain with this stance. Here are some fucking LINKS!

if you have the money and the time, you will want to own these.....pure BRILLIANCE!

and Mr Grant Morrison himself:

Hope this will change your life for the better, or worse...
